Released way back in 1986 in Japan on the Nintendo Entertainment System, and a little bit later for the rest of the world, Castlevania took the world by storm and is now today one of the longest running video game series there is!
Play as Simon Belmont (A vampire hunter) and take on all kinds of creepy enemies and even Dracula himself! Not only was the game well received and a financial success, Magazines like Nintendo Power even rank it up there as one of the best games ever made! So today we will pay tribute to this platforming masterpiece in the way of sharing character sprites, enemy sprites and even the level maps for you to enjoy!

Originally released in Japan on April 27, 1992, Kirby’s Dream Land was just about an instant success! Developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy, it is actually the debut game for our little pink puff. However, you might have noticed that on the game art/box art Kirby is actually shown as white! This is because the developers at the time didn’t actually know what color to make him.

You know how I know that someone is going to enjoy these sprites? This game was the 4th best selling NES game of all time, selling over 2 million units. Despite it’s popularity however The Legend of Zelda is now amongst one of the rarest cartridges in the second hand collectors circles with a copy once selling for $1000usd (although you don’t have to pay that much if you check out ebay, quality varies though). Anyway, enough of my rants about the 1986 classic, let’s just check out the sprites!
