Hello friends it’s Tim here again for another quick game breaking video!
Today, we’re cracking open one of the most chaotic, nostalgic beat-’em-ups on the SNES — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time… but not as you remember it.
Today We’re plugging in the legendary Game Genie and bending the rules of time, space… and well, good game design!
What happens when the turtles become unstoppable?
Can we break bosses, glitch levels, or even turn old Shredder into a total joke?
And most importantly… just how wild can these cheat codes get?
So Grab your pizza, power up your SNES, and let’s dive into some seriously broken turtle-powered madness!
On with the show!

Even though I haven’t played this game in many years I thought I would jump in straight to level 10 using a 4 line code that let’s me start off on the final fight with Shredder 69B8-A42F + 6FB8-A7FF + DDB8-A79F + DBB8-A4BF – At first I didn’t think it had worked as the game started as normal but then all of a sudden bam, I was thrown in against shredder in the final fight! Needless to say, I got destroyed. I think I should maybe try something a little bit different to get my bearings back in this game.
So moving on I tried the much easier code of 26C4-640F which instead of throwing you straight into shredder, it at least gives you the option of which level you would like to start on! This is a super handy menu that happens when you start the game that just let’s you toggle through and select where you want to start! I still got pretty owned but after switching over to my man Donatello I was actually able to get to Krang on level 8, so progress on my skill level has been made at least and we have unlocked a super cool level select code!
Up next is an awesome Galoob code BB28-67D9 when you use this bad boy you automatically start the game with 100 lives! The code does state that you shouldn’t try changing the lives section in the option screen, but since you have 100 of them it doesn’t really matter anyway! I think 100 lives is probably a bit overkill for this game, but still, it’s super handy if you haven’t played in a while!
If you want to take this to even another level then you can try the code DDAC-6F67 which actually gives you infinite lives! Sure, your life counter will show 2, but it will always show 2 no matter how many times you get taken down by the foot clan! Pretty neat! In this clip I also used another subtle code that is 89AB-6FAD which makes it so your special attack doesn’t drain your health! In turtles in time each character can do a special attack by pressing Y and B at the same time which is not only awesome at clearing crowds but it also gives you invincibility for a few frames. The down side is this usually costs you a bit of health each time you use it, but now with this code you can be that special turtle you always knew you were without having to worry about your health bar depleting. It’s super handy!

Speaking of attacking, there is an awesome code that is 6D6C-0F2F which allows you to 1 hit kill any mob and even most if not all bosses! Just walk up to the bad guys, poke them with your sword and bam, they are done! You can even improve this further if you add in the second code EA66-67AA which now lets player 1 hit anywhere on the screen by just attacking! This is super over powered as you can just keep spamming your attack and everything on screen cops it whether they want it or not. There is also something satisfying about seeing bosses drop with 1 hit when you aren’t even aiming at them. This even works on this bonus level at stage 8 called “Neon Night Riders”, plus I got my payback on Super Krang, so that definitely gives these 2 codes bonus points for me. If you want to just cruise through the game then either of these codes are worth giving a try yourself.
Up next we have a classic Galoob cheat code that is 892F-0DD7 and with this bad boy entered in you will now be protected against most enemy attacks! This is essentially invincibility as you can get hit by just about everything without actually taking any damage at all! The only way I found that you could take damage was by using your special attack, which could easily be fixed one of the previous codes. Even the boss of the first level couldn’t touch my health bar, so take that fly man thing!

And lastly I will leave you with this massive 6 line code to have some fun with! 3CAF-0DD4 + 3C36-6767 + 3C24-6D67 + 3C2C-0467 + 3C2C-6FA7 + 3CAE-D764 When you enter in all of these codes you will now have the ability to “walk through walls” as the code claims. The reality is however that you can walk anywhere on the screen or even off it! This ends in some pretty weird scenarios as the enemies can only attack you on a certain area of the screen, roughly the bottom half. This allows you to hide out of reach and wait for that perfect attack strategy or just walk off the screen if you like! Just make sure you try and keep track of where abouts you are as it can sometimes be difficult to make your way back onto the playing field. It’s a pretty odd but also pretty cool code for this game, and it wasn’t the kind of thing I was expecting to even be able to do in the SNES classic!
Anyway that’s it for today my friends! I do hope you enjoyed this game genie video on the SNES classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV – Turtles in Time!
