Hello friends and welcome to another quick Mario Mayhem.com video! Today we are delving back into the seedy underbelly of game modification with the Game Genie as we tackle the 1984 NES classic Excitebike!
This old gem is a game where you ride motorcross bikes around a map and try to beat either player 2 or the other CPU racers. It’s almost like a precursor to Mario Kart, only 8 bit, no items and well none of the other chaos that comes with the Mario Kart series.

Plus the graphics are pretty rad and have that classic in your face 90’s vibe so how can you not enjoy it to some degree!

Developed by Konami, This game allows you to control Buster Bunny and his friends in a journey to rescue Barbara Anne, better known as “Babs” Bunny, from her kidnapper Montana Max, or simply Monty as he is more commonly known. It’s a classic story line for a video game, especially from this era, and the game still looks and plays quite well even to this day! On top of this it was actually the first ever Tiny Toons game ever made, which is pretty cool!

So in this
addition of our Game Genie Hijinx series we are going to take a look at one of
the Super Nintendo’s most popular games, or at least a variation of it, Street
Fighter 2 Turbo! Why the Turbo version? Well it is quite confusing as to which
the original game was as there are like 3 or 4 versions for the SNES and that
isn’t including region differences or hacks! So Turbo it is! I may cover the
original Street Fighter II: The World Warrior one day but today we are going
into hyper mode!
